Recently I have upgrade my new gear to support my work as Bali Wedding Photographer, with new Camera and new Lens. After view research, read many article from internet… Finally I have choose the best of the EOS-1D series Camera from Canon.. It’s Canon 1Dx Camera. Why I choose this heavy camera (Around 1.5Kg)… because my passions is not only for wedding and pre-wedding photography. Basically before I take job as Wedding Photographer, I love to take sports photography like skateboarding and surfing. Before I started business in this job, I’m using Canon 1D Mark II and I already know how quality and how fast this camera for sporting. But since I have decided to make money from wedding as wedding photographer, I’m upgrading with Canon 7D then Canon 5D Mark II.
I still use my Canon 5D Mark II camera plus Canon 1Dx Camera for wedding now. I know with this 2 different model camera have different MegaPixel. The Canon 1Dx only have 18.1 MegaPixel. But this camera have full frame sensor also have 12 frames per second… So!!! I can hit 2 birds by using 1 rock hahaha. I can use for wedding and also can use it for sports. And for the lens, as my job for wedding photographer sometimes make me to traveling not only in bali for capture wedding and pre-wedding / post wedding photos. That why I need another compact lens that very easy for me to use, so I will no longer need to bring many lens. As from this lens I can capture Wide-angle and also tele. The lens that I’m choosing is the new Canon 24-70mm f2.8 II L . For wedding Sometimes required me to take photo with low light conditions, and usually for low light I always use my fix lenses so I can use Large Aperture. But why I still choose this lens that have Aperture f2.8? Because when I read from internet, view sample from this lens… i’t showing this lens also still can capture sharp image even it very low light and still can be fast to catch the object even in the low light conditions. It’s really different when I’m using my old lens Canon 24-70mm f2.8 . It’s really hard to capture image at the low light conditions.
